Project description

The client's overall project was managed by various service providers.

In the "Serve" sub-project, the DevOps process was set up by our DevOps specialists, as the company wanted to deploy to the cloud using pipelines for the first time as part of this project.

Responsibilities in the "Serve" sub-project

  • Set up DevOps process: The DevOps process has been set up and optimized.
  • Advice on tool decisions: The company was advised on the selection of suitable tools. In particular, the advantages and disadvantages of JFrog onPrem, JFrog Cloud and Azure DevOps were evaluated.
  • Upskilling in the DevOps area: training and further qualification of internal IT departments to enable them to independently manage DevOps processes.

Project process

  • Kick-off and initial analysis: A detailed project kick-off meeting was organized with all stakeholders to define the objectives and scope of the project.
  • Evaluation of the cloud tools: Evaluation of JFrog onPrem, JFrog Cloud and Azure DevOps.
  • Implementation of core processes in DevOps in Azure: Supporting the company in the introduction of Azure DevOps and the integration of existing on-premise tools.
  • Training: Continuous project-related training of the internal IT departments ensured the transfer of knowledge and upskilling in the DevOps area.
